王秦生(1945.3—)山西平遥人。擅长中国画、油画。1969年毕业于中央工艺美术学院。山西省美术家协会副主席，一级美术师。中国画《呵!祖国的瑰宝》获第二届全国青年美展三等奖，《故乡》获第六届全国美展铜奖，油画《乡邻细语》获第八届全国美展优秀作品奖。有作品被中国美术馆收藏。

2010年  创作油画《千岩万壑图》;

在中国美术馆举办《古韵新风—王秦生艺术作品展》;

2008年  创作“山水系列”油画《疏泉洗砚图》、《浮峦暖翠》、《云山》、《山色朦胧》、《仿龚贤山水之二》、《虚阁临流》、《溪山结翠》、《秋山》、《仿古山水之二》;
山西省美术家协会换届，任顾问;

2008  I finished a series of oil paintings “Mountains and Rivers”, such as “Washing Inkstone in Thin Creek”, “Overwhelming Warm Green”, “Cloudy Mountain”, “Misty Mountain Scene”, “Imitation of Gongxian’s Landscape Painting -Two”, “Airy Pavilions Beside River”, “Blooming Green of Ravine”, “Autumn Mountain”, “Imitation of Ancient Landscape Painting-Two”;

I was elected as a consultant of Shanxi Artists Association after its change of office terms;

2007年  创作“山水系列”油画《泰山松》、《幽谷论道》、《雪岳读书图》、《山家红叶》、《仿古山水之一》、《木叶丹黄图》、《仿龚贤山水之一》;

母亲郭谏堂逝世，享年九十岁;

2007  I finished a series of oil paintings “Mountains and Rivers”, such as “Pines of Mountain Tai”, “Talking about Tao in A Secluded Valley”, “Reading on Snowy Mountain”, “Red Autumnal Leaves on Mountain”, “Imitation of Ancient Landscape Painting-One”, “Red and Yellow Tree-Leaves”, “Imitation of Gongxian’s Landscape Painting-One ”;
My mother Guo Jiantang passed away at the age of 90;

2006年  经过多年沉积，潜心思索自己的艺术创新之路，作品从乡土转向个性语言的追求，开始创作“山水系列”油画。用油画手法和色彩语言重新诠释传统山水画，完成《读书台》、《松壑图》、《云山幽趣》、《仿八大山人笔意》、《晨寂》、《雪原》、《溪山胜境》、《夕照》、《夏山过雨图》;

2006  After accumulating and thinking about my art creation path for several years, I began to create an oil painting series of “Mountains and Rivers”, in which my painting style was changed into individual character from earthy character. Through the integration of oil painting skills and color-language interpretation, I finished oil paintings of “Reading Pavilion”, “Pines and Ravine”, “Delightful Serenity of Cloudy Mountain”,“Imitation of Zhuda’s Painting Style”, “Quiet Morning”, “Snowy Hills”, “Scenic Ravine”, “Shining of Sunset”, “Summer Thundershower Flying Over Mountain”;

2005  I retired and started to paint in my studio in Beijing. Aiming at expressing wholehearted support to “People oriented” administrative policy, I created oil painting “Listening”, and presented the painting to Premier Wen Jiabao. He wrote back and said: “Respectfully accepted your regard and kindness which inspires me constantly.”

2005  退休，开始在北京的画室进行创作，衷心拥护中央“以人为本”的执政理念”;
创作油画《倾听》，赠温家宝总理，温总理回信写道:“厚意敬领，以常激励自己”;

2003年  创作水墨人物画《新曲》、《琵琶仕女图》等;

当选第五届山西省美术家协会主席团副主席;

2003  I created ink-portrait paintings such as “New Melody”, “Palace Maid with Chinese Lutes”;
I was elected as the vice-chairman of the presidium of 5th Shanxi Artists Association;

2001年  主编彩色卡通连环画《十二生肖民俗知识故事画库》，绘制上千幅线描稿，完成全部线稿的上色，山西人民出版社出版;
与女儿王昊合作编绘幼儿读物《跟月亮姐姐学画画学制作》，希望出版社出版，改编节目由中央电视台播出;

2001  I chiefly edited the color cartoon serial picture books of “Folk Custom stories about Twelve Chinese Zodiac Signs”, in which I finished almost a thousand line drawings and colored all of the line drawings in these books, which were published by Shanxi People Press;

My daughter Wanghao and I together drew and compiled the children-reading named “Learn Drawing and Handwork from Sister Moon”, which was published by Hope Press, revised and broadcasted by CCTV;

2000年   与女儿王昊合作编绘幼儿读物《月亮姐姐教画画》，蓝天出版社出版，改编节目由中央电视台播出;

2000  My daughter Wanghao and I together drew and compiled the children-reading named “Learn to Draw from Sister Moon”, which was published by Blue Sky Press, revised and broadcasted by CCTV;

1999年  创作油画《绿色不是梦》入选笫九届全国美展,获山西省摄影、书法、美术作品系列展一等奖;

1999  Oil painting “Green Is Not Only a Dream” was selected to the 9th National Art Exhibition, and got the first prize of Shanxi Photograph, Calligraphy and Fine Art Works Exhibition;

1997年  赴法国巴黎国际艺术城吕霞光画室，历时半年在西欧各大博物馆、美术馆考察西方古典和现当代艺术，大开眼界。作品参加国际艺术城举办的各国艺术家联展;

评为国家一级美术师;

1997  I visited Lv Xiaguang’s Studio in the International Art City of Paris, France. During half-a-year trip in Western Europe, I observed and studied the western classical art and modern art, which greatly widened my horizon. My works was selected into the associated exhibition of artists from every country, held by the International Art City. I was elected as the National First Class Painter;

1995年  当选第四届山西省美术家协会主席团副主席，组织和参加在中国美术馆举办的山西省美术、书法、摄影作品展;

1995  I was elected as the vice-chairman of the presidium of 4th Shanxi Artists Association, organized and participated in Shanxi Fine Art, Calligraphy, and Photography Works Exhibition, which was held in National Art Museum of China;

1994年  创作油画《乡邻细语》入选第八届全国美术作品展获优秀作品奖；同时获第12届山西省美术作品展特等奖;

1994  Oil painting “Whisper between Neighbor-Villagers” was selected into 8th National Art Exhibition and awarded the excellent prize. This painting also got the outstanding prize in Shanxi Art Exhibition;

1993年  作品《山村春晓》获山西省文学艺术创作铜奖;

1993  My painting “Spring Morning in Mountain Village” was awarded bronze of Shanxi Literature and Art Creation;

1992年  编绘幼儿读物《奇妙的画册丛书》，山西人民出版社出版;

1992  I drew and compiled a series of children’s reading named “Fantastic Painting Album”, which were published by Shanxi People Press;

1991年  油画《赶集》、《楼梯与傣妇》、《母与子》、《山村系列》等12幅作品参加在北京举办的《吴冠中师生画展》，今日中国出版社出版《吴冠中师生作品选》。上海文汇报艺苑掇英发表吴冠中先生对我作品的评介文章“黄河、黄土地孕育了他”;

文章《魂系生活》江苏画刊笫9期发表;

主编《三十六计智谋故事》连环画(绘制部份作品)，山西人民出版社出版;

作品《故乡》获山西省笫二届文学艺术创作特别奖;

1991  My 12 oil paintings such as “Go to Market”, “Stairs and A Lady of Dai Nationality”, “Mother and Son”, “A Series of Mountain Village” , were shown in the Art Exhibition of Wu Guanzhong and His Students, and also published in the book “The Works of Wu Guanzhong and His Students” by China Today Press. Mr. Wu Guanzhong wrote an article named “He was pregnant by Yellow River and yellow earth” to evaluate my works, which was published by Shanghai Wenhui Daily in the column of “Picking up the excellent in art and literary circles”;
The article “Soul deeply in Life” was carried in the 9th “Jiangsu Pictorial”. As a chief editor, I compiled serial picture books“Thirty-Six Stratagems Stories”and drew some pictures of it, which were published by shanxi people Press;
My painting “Hometown” was awarded the special prize of 2nd Shanxi Literary and Artistic Creation;

1990年  创作油画《楼梯与傣妇》、《母与子》、《远方的小河》、《山村系列》等;

1990  During that year, I was working on the oil paintings of “Stairs and A Lady of Dai Nationality”, “Mother and Son”, “A Creak from Far Away”, “A Series of Mountain Village”, and so on;

1989年   陪同老师吴冠中先生赴山西河曲赵家沟、林县李家山写生;

油画《山村春晓》参加山西省第11届美术作品展，获优秀奖(不分等级);

当选山西省青年联合会常委;

1989  I painted from nature in Zhaojiagou of Hequ county and Lijiashan of Lin county in Shanxi Province, companying my teacher Wu Guanzhong;
Oil painting “Spring Morning in Mountain Village” was exhibited in the 11th Art Exhibition of

Shanxi and was awarded an excellent prize;
I was elected as the member of standing committee of Shanxi Youth Federation;

1988年  评为国家二级美术师;

1988  I was named National Second-class Painter;

1987年  参加山西省青年联合会组织的中青年画家采风团，赴四川九寨沟、云南西双版纳写生。创作《渔家晚炊》、《赶集》、《布朗族少女》、《山雀》、《诺尔盖草原》等油画作品，参加在太原举办的“南方行”画展;
从这一时期开始，创作重点由中国画转为油画，创作思路从主题性绘画转为乡土和风情;

1987  During the time of painting from nature of Jiuzhaigou valley in Sichuan Province and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province, as a member of scenery-collecting team of young and middle-aged painters, which was organized by Shanxi Youth Federation, I created oil paintings of “Evening Meal of Fisher folks”, “Go to Market”, “A Maid of Blang Nationality”, “Titmouse”, “The Norgay Grassland”. All of these works were shown in the art exhibition “A Trip in the South” in Taiyuan;

1986年  从山西省画院调入山西省美术家协会;

1986  I was transferred to Shanxi Artists Association from Shanxi Painting Academy;

1984年  在山西临县、偏关、河曲黄河沿岸和黄土高原深入生活，创作中国画《故乡》入选第六届全国美术作品展，获铜质奖，中国美术馆收藏，参加在日本东京举办的中国美术作品秀作展 ;
当选山西省青年联合会委员;

1984  My Chinese painting “Hometown” was selected into both the Sixth National Art Exhibition, got bronze, and the Chinese Fine Arts Exhibition in Tokyo, Japanese, finally collected by the National Art Museum of China. This painting was created during the time of drawing from nature along the banks of Yellow River and in the Loess Plateau in Linxian, Pianguan, Hequ;

I was elected as a member of Shanxi Youth Federation;

1983年  创作中国画《老豆腐》参加山西省“中堂、四扇屏、中国人物画展”;

1983  My Chinese painting “Hard Bean Curd” was selected into “Shanxi Art Exhibition of Central Scroll, Conjoint Four-sides Screen and Chinese-people Art Exhibition”;

1982年  与张为之合作连环画《老干事吴臣》、《跑进门的媳妇》，中国连环画报发表;

1982  With the cooperation of Zhang Weizhi, I painted the serial pictures “The Old Stewards Wuchen” and “Daughter-in-law, Running Quickly to Enter Home”, which were published in Chinese Pictorial of Serial Pictures;

1981年  创作中国画《丰年》参加在中国美术馆举办的“晋津京年画作品展”;

赴山西沁源林区写生，创作中国画《山雨》参加山西省美术作品展;

油画《背棍》参加在北京举办的二十九省市“寸光阴”美术作品展;

1981  My Chinese painting “Harvest Year” was selected into “Shanxi-Tianjin-Beijing New Year Pictures Exhibition”, held by National Art Museum of China;
When I drew from nature in Qinyuan forested area, Shanxi Province, I created the Chinese painting “Mountain Shower”, which was selected into Shanxi Art Exhibition;
My oil painting “Shouldering the Cudgels” was selected into “Every Valuable Minute”Art Exhibition in Beijing, which was held by 29 provinces;

1980年  赴甘肃敦煌观摩学习；参加太原晋祠王郭北齐娄睿墓发掘时的壁画复制工作；在应县木塔看到修复文革时惨遭破坏的文物，有感而发，创作中国画《啊，祖国的瑰宝》入选第二届全国青年美术作品展，获三等奖;

1980  I went to the Dunhuang Caves to view, emulate and study the Dunhuang Art. I participated in the frescoes-duplicating work of Lourui Tomb of the Northern Qi Dynasty in the village of Wangguo, Jinci, Taiyuan. My Chinese painting “What a Gem of Our Motherland” was selected into the Second National Art Exhibition of Young Painters and got the third prize, whose creating inspiration was from the situation of restoring the ruthlessly destroyed in the time of “the Culture Revolution

” historical relics of Wooden Pagoda in Yingxian County;

1979年  赴山西陵川太行山小水电站写生，创作中国画《山歌》参加山西省庆祝建国三十周年美展，人民美术出版社出版年画发行;

1979   During the time of drawing from nature in Taihang Mountain Hydropower Station in Lingchuan Town, Shanxi Province, I created Chinese painting “Folk Song”, which was selected into Shanxi Arts Exhibition in Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of China, and published by People’s Fine Arts

Press in the form of New Year picture;

1978年  与张为之合作中国画《松柏长青》入选毛主席诞辰八十五周年全国美展;

与张为之合作油画《光辉的榜样》、中国画《红花竞艳》参加山西省美术作品展，河北画刊、延安画刊发表;

中国美术家协会恢复，被吸收为会员;

1978  With the cooperation of Zhang Weizhi, I created the Chinese painting “Evergreen as the fur and pine”, which was selected into the National Fine Arts Exhibition in Celebration of the 85th Anniversary of the Birth of Chairman Mao;
With the cooperation of Zhang Weizhi, the oil painting “A Brilliant Example” and the Chinese painting “Blooming Red Flowers” were slected into Shanxi Arts Exhibition, and published by Hebei Pictorial and Yanan Pictorial;
I became a member of the Chinese Artist Association after its reinstatement;

1977年  上海人民出版社“美术创作丛书”发表《开学典礼创作经验谈》;

与张为之合作中国画《贴心话》、版画《迎接新的战斗》入选全国“双庆”美术作品展(庆祝华国锋同志任中共中央主席、庆祝粉碎四人帮的胜利)。人民美术出版社、上海人民美术出版社、天津人民美术出版社、河南人民出版社、辽宁人民出版社出版画册、单幅画页发行;
女儿王昊降临人世;

1977  The article “Experiences of painting ‘Opening Ceremony’” was published in “Fine Art Creation

Series” by Shanghai People’s Press;
The Chinese painting “Heart-to-heart talk” and the engraving “Rise to the new challenge”, which were created with the cooperation of Zhang Weizhi, were both elected into the National “Double Celebration” Fine Arts Exhibition, and published by People’s Fine Arts Press, Shanghai People’s Fine Arts Press, Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Press, Henan People’s Press, Liaoning People’s Press, in the forms of painting album and single page. (“Double Celebration” was for the assumption of Comrade Hua Guofeng as the Chairman of the CPC Central Committee and the victory of crashing the “Gang of Four”.) ;
My Daughter Wanghao was born;

1975  Following the experiences and feelings of life, I produced Chinese paintings of “Opening Ceremony”, “Return after graduation”, which were not only selected into the National Arts Exhibition of New Year Pictures, but also published by People's Fine Arts Press, Shanghai People’s Press, Tianjin Fine Arts Press and Shanxi People’s Press in the forms of painting album and single page;

1974年  去山西大寨、太原郊区深入生活，参加太原晋祠花塔大队农民业余大学的成立庆典;

1974  I went to Dazhai Village and other countrysides of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province in order to experience life. Meanwhile, I participated in the establishing celebration of the Peasants Spare-time University of Huata Production Brigade in the town of Jinci, Taiyuan;

1973年  分配山西省人民文化宫(后更名为山西省美术工作室、山西省画院)从事美术创作。受力群、苏光等老一辈艺术家影响，注重深入生活的主题性绘画创作;

1973  I was assigned to Shanxi People's Cultural Palace, which was renamed of Shanxi Fine Art Studio and Shanxi Painting Academy. Being influenced by the older-generation-artists such as Liqun, Suguang, I started to focus on the motif deeply from the people’s lives;

1970年  随学院下放河北农村，在1594部队劳动锻炼。后期利用星期天假日师从吴冠中先生画画，终生受益;

1970  I was sent to rural area of Hebei Province with our academy, underwent reform through labor in 1594 Unit of PLA. During the later period, I learned painting from Mr. Wu Guanzhong, every Sunday, what benefited to my life-time;

1966年  文化大革命期间绘制大量宣传画、与同学王怀庆合作油画《毛主席去上海建党》;

1966  During the time of the Culture Revolution, I painted a number of posters, and cooperated with my schoolmate Wang Huaiqing on the oil painting“Chairman Mao Founds the Party in Shanghai”;

1964年  考入中央工艺美术学院;
受教于张振仕、郑炯灶、阿老等教授;

1964  I entered the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, studied from professors such as Zhang Zhenshi, Zheng Jiongzao and A Lao;

1960年  父亲王师曾病逝;
考入中央美术学院附中,受教于高亚光、孙滋溪、卢沉等老师，得到系统的绘画基本功训练;

1960  My father passed away because of illness;

I took the entrance-examination for the High School affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, systematically studied the basic skills of painting from the teachers of the school such as Gao Yaguang, Sun Zixi, Lu Chen;

1957年  考入山西平遥第一中学;

参加学校美术组，向何庆文老师学画;

1957  I entered the First Middle School of Pinyao in Shanxi Province, and joined the group of drawing, started to learn painting techniques from the teacher He Qingwen;

1951年  就读山西平遥城关第二小学;

1951  I attended the Chengguan Second Primary School in the city of Pinyao, Shanxi Province;

1948年  北京解放，父亲随解放军南下。姐姐、弟弟和我随母亲回到山西平遥老家;

1948  After the liberation of Beijing, my father went to south as a PLA. Mother went back to our hometown Pingyao in Shanxi Province, taking my sister, brother and me;

1945年  生于中国西安;

1945  I was born in Xi'an, China;
